Crichton Manufacturing offer two types of international starting blocks.

The world patented PANTHER SUPER BLOCK and the SUPER-SELECT aluminium starting block, both sets are manufactured in the United Kingdom to the highest possible standards and are compliy to UK and IAAF specifications.

PANTHER SUPER BLOCK

The Panther Super Blocks is the only set of starting blocks in the world to have a fully adjustable foot and heal support, this unique patented design allows the athlete to burst out of the blocks a staggering 0.5 seconds quicker than the conventional style of starting block, this is achieved by adjusting the heal support so that the first movement of the foot is forward and not backward thus reducing the amount of time the athlete stays in the blocks.These blocks are manufactured using cast aluminium alloy, are available with a 100mm or 75mm wide extruded aluminium channel and are powder coated green.

SUPER SELECT STARTING BLOCKS

The Super Select Starting Block is manufactured using high carbon aluminium alloy, making the blocks incredabilly rigid yet suprising light due to there thin wall sections and stream line design, these blocks are available in 75mm and 100mm wide channel widths to suit both junior and senior athletes alike. The foot pads have an extra wide face which is also higher than conventional style starting blocks, and are fully adjustable.
